Thanks for checking me out. I decided to create this simple blog just for illustration work. I’ve been doing commercial illustration for over 20 years and still love it. I’d love to hear your comments if you are another illustrator or artist. “We’re are in this alone, together”.
One of my first jobs was designing t-shirts for a company in Newport Beach. It was owned by a dynamic women, sort of a hippie with a business drive that would make Donald Trump proud. She gave me a whopping $10 per design. Yes, that’s right $10. She sold thousands of shirts and I was thrilled that I got paid for drawing stuff. I don’t know how many designs I did but it was a bunch. I probably made over $100. Wow.
